How do you know when to replace your tubing?
Pump tubing doesn’t last forever - over time it can stretch, lose suction, or trap moisture. Most mums replace theirs every 3–6 months, or sooner if you’re pumping multiple times a day.
Signs it’s time for a new set:
- Suction feels weaker or inconsistent
- Visible moisture or condensation inside the tube
- Cracks, discoloration, or stiff/loose sections
- Milk backup near the connectors
- You’ve been sick and want a fresh, hygienic set
