I offer one on one support in the comfort and privacy of your own home. I will do an assessment and identify the cause of the problem and write an individual plan for you moving forward with solutions to correct the issues.

I work in collaboration with your midwife and/or GP as requested

The Initial Consultation is for 45 mins.

At the conclusion of your visit, I will email you a summary of the consultation and our newly devised plan so that you have a handy reference when implementing the changes.

Following your initial home visit, you are not flying solo. I can stay in touch during the week to provide support and advice with email or phone (see add on support package).

If further support is required, a follow-up visit can arranged. I may also refer you to a Paediatrician if I believe there may be an underlying medical concern.

$350 for the Initial Consultation. Consultations include the In Home consultation for 45 mins and also the emailed summary with a plan moving forward.

$50 add on support package - this is a week of unlimited phone and email support post the In Home Consultation.

Most private health funds will provide rebates for services provided by a Certified lactation Consultant if you have specialist cover. (Enquire with your health fund prior to consultation) An invoice will be emailed and payment required on the day following consultation.

* Home Consultations are only available in Christchurch city area. For those who live further out you can also access my 1:1 face to face services by coming to my office in Mount Pleasant.

SHIPPING INFO

We offer fast, economical shipping across New Zealand. All items on our website are in stock, ready to dispatch (excludes pre-order items). Shipping cut off is 2pm for overnight delivery. We use Post Haste, Castle Parcels and NZ Couriers, they deliver Monday-Friday.

RATES

Flat Rate Shipping throughout NZ of $8.95. Chatham Islands - $15
Australia -  Flat rate, tracked postage $30 

*MTM Sterilisers attract an oversize fee of $15.

SHIPPING TIMES

South Island shipping is generally overnight. The rest of New Zealand usually takes 1-3 business days for packages to arrive. 

Australia orders allow 3-7 working days.

Please allow additional days if you are rural or if you are ordering during holiday periods or major promotions.

We also offer OVERNIGHT COURIER options on our items if you need something urgently. You can choose this option at checkout.

Please note:

  • Delivery targets are guides only. We do not guarantee that your item will reach its destination with the delivery target.
  • All parcels are delivered by Post Haste, Castle Parcels or NZ Couriers.
  • For overnight orders they must be placed before 2pm to be delivered the next day.
  • Our standard delivery service requires a signature.

    Home Consultation -Baby Number 2!

    Julia is one of a kind! She has a wealth of knowledge in this industry and could provide me with the extensive support and care I needed to have a sound understanding of what's best for me and my baby! From latching, to managing my time feeding a new born and caring for my toddler, Julia could provide me with solutions and options that would make my day to day life that bit more simpler!

    I have purchased pumps from Julia as well and they are incredible! They are high quality, easy to use, easy to clean, and ultimately so comfortable.

    Julia was very kind at the consultation and gave some really encouraging comments and advice. Making my way to the appointment was challening - finding parking and nagivating finding her home with a baby in capsule not knowing what to look for to find the exact location. I'd recommend offering to park in her driveway or something easy for visiting clients.

    I was expecting to be able to contact Julia with questions along the way of my breastfeeding journey after the initial consult but my expectations were incorrect and did not feel like I was getting the follow up support that I needed regardless of booking in follow up consultaions. It would be great to be able to contact her with questions along the way. After all, babies and breastfeeding continues regardless of a pre-booked appointment and continued support is necessary.
