Why our customers love the Bellema Wearable Electric Pump

Life is busy and sitting down and pumping just isn’t doable with young children. I was able to vacuum, fold the laundry and tend do my children all while pumping at the same time! I got a decent amount to pop away in my freezer stash. I’ve never used anything like this and I’m genuinely impressed.

Rebecca

This pump changed my life! After spending hours attached to a previous pump, I could suddenly forget I was even pumping as I walked around doing other tasks while it worked away. It’s just as powerful as any other pump I’ve used, can hold more than enough milk and it’s so easy to operate. Can’t recommend it enough, it’s a no brainer!

Julie R.

This pump is SO easy to use. Can put together in seconds and pump handsfree. The pumping is gentle and not too harsh on the boob. Highly recommend

Natalie

Having twins and a newborn means I’m sooo busy so having this hands free pump has been a game changer for me! I’ve been pumping to build a freezer stash and have also managed to pump and donate 4L of milk which is amazing, and being able to do it hands free around looking after the kids is so convenient.

Shannon

This pump is a game changer! I can feed bubs and pump, vacuum and pump, do the dishes and pump, hang out washing and pump - pretty much any activity. It’s gentle and so easy to use. I absolutely love it!

Bellema Wearable Electric Breast Pump FAQs

I have low milk supply, can I buy one of the wearable pumps?

The Bellema Wearable pumps are not hospital grade. They are recommended for mums with a good milk supply

How do I clean my breast pump parts?

Rinse with cold water. Warm soapy water wash with dishwashing liquid. Rinse with warm water

Either tip boiling water over the parts that touch milk or you can use our UV Sterilizer. Parts can be washed in the dishwasher using the top rack. Place on a paper towel or allow to air dry on a drying rack.

Only sterilize/clean the parts that touch milk. The pump parts need to be sterilized after each use. This does not include the diaphragm.

Do not need to clean the tubing. If you do notice moisture in the tubes, remove the tubes from the breast shields and turn the machine on for a few minutes until the moisture has gone.

The diaphragm should not need to be cleaned. If you do find this is coming into contact with milk make sure you are sitting upright when pumping. Cleaning and sterilizing this part can cause issues with suction and wear and tear on the diaphragm causing it to need replacing.

We recommend replacing your diaphragm, valve/membrane every 2-3 months with frequent expressing. This is across all breast pump brands.

How do I know which shield size to choose?

All our pumps come with a standard size shield ie 24/25mm depending on the model/brand. We suggest trying the shield size that comes with the pump as this will fit most. We recommend being fitted properly by a LC or your midwife/other health professional. If you are unable to do this we recommend going off comfort whilst pumping. Here is a graphic on how a shield suit fit to help give you some guidance. We offer different shield sizes for different pumps.

Bellema Euphoria Plus comes with 25mm shields in the box. 21mm and 29mm inserts or soft shields are available for this also.

Bellema Wearable Breast Pump - comes with a 24mm shield. We currently do NOT offer other shield sizes for this.

Bellema Deluxe Wearable Breast Pump - comes with a 25mm shield. Also in the box is a 17mm and 21mm insert.

Which pump is best for me?

The Bellema Euphoria is a great all round pump. It is hospital grade, dual motor which means no suction reduction when double pumping and it also has independent controls so if you have a sore nipple on one side you can pump on a low setting and increase the setting on the other side. This pump is great for first time mums and is designed to increase supply. It also has a built in lithium battery You can pump both sides in 10 mins and it will pump 50% more milk in half the time. You can use it as a single pump also.

If you want to pump on the go and have a good supply you can choose either of our Bellema Wearable Pumps.

How long does the battery last on Bellema products?

Bellema Euphoria Plus - approx 2.5 hours of on the go pumping time

Bellema Wearable + Deluxe Breast Pump - approx 2 hours of on the go pumping time

*pumping time can vary depending on the level you are pumping in. ie if you are using a higher level the battery time will be less.

Bellema UV Sterilizer - can be used up to 20 times before needing to be recharged. They all have built in lithium batteries.

What is the best setting to pump in?

Start in the stimulation mode and once milk is flowing (your milk has let-down) switch to expression mode. All the modes are detailed in the pump booklet that came in the box with your pump.

If you are finding pumping painful -try pumping on a low setting and you have the option of our soft shields (which come with the euphoria) or our 3D shields (which are for super sensitive nipples, or for mums who find pumping painful).

Are your breast pumps BPA free?

Yes they are.

I love how I can still move around and do things, obviously being cautious to make sure nothing spills out but it's so convenient to have!

    A must have product!

I was nervous about spending the money but now I have two! Once I brought one and it worked soo well I needed another one. Only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner. It works better than my hospital grade breast pump! I can pump 200 mls in 5 minutes.

Good to start with then had troubles

Great pump to start with but then only 2 weeks in randomly starts not sucking. Pull it apart (while loosing a lot of spilt milk) cant find anything wrong with it and randomly starts working again. Happens approx every 4 pumping sessions.

So great pump when it works but way to temperamental. Have purchased all new parts to see if that helps but with only being 2 weeks in I feel I shouldn't have to purchase new parts already.

    Next level convenient

I LOVE THIS PUMP, takes the stress out of pumping. I literally chuck it in any time I want to go out and leave the baby at home w her father. Makes those little things so much easier. Couldn't recommend higher.
