What is a good feed?

You can know your baby is getting enough if there is . . .
Average weight gain - 150-240 grams a week in the first 3 months
110-140 grams a week - 4-6 months
60-110 grams a week - 6-12 months
Lots of swallowing is heard - "Milk transfer is everything"
Listen for Rhythmic suck/swallow patterns
Baby is satisfied after most feeds - Baby lets go of the breast, is settled
Output - remember what goes in must come out. Keep a note of wet and dirty nappies each day
